Dr. Arevalo is a licensed clinical psychologist with years of experience working within a wide variety of clinical settings. He was born and raised in Southern California. He greatly enjoys spending time with family and friends, who know him best for his sense of humor and empathetic nature. He is genuine in all of his interactions and relationships because he believes this is how we can establish deeper connections.
On most weekends you will find him exploring new coffee shops and spending time in the gym. He enjoys going on hikes and exploring new areas. He is also a huge Dodger fan!

Dr. Arevalo graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minor in Social Work. He attended Marywood University in Scranton, PA where he attained a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology as well as a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology.
He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health organizations, private practice, university counseling centers, as well as various hospitals. He has a experience working with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns and disorders including depression, various types of anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD, neurological disorders, psychosis, relationship issues, and anger management.
Overall, his provision of services have included individual and group psychotherapy, psychological consultation with brief intervention practices, crisis intervention services, and conducting psychodiagnostic testing.
